Personal Starting Points:

1. Computer => {input process output}
   The computational process can be seen as a set of separate modules which can be permutated and combined in arbitrary ways -i.e. Stock exchange prices could provide input to a musical process which has a visual representation


2. Personal Confrontation
   - A tone-deaf sculptor loose in an intelligent electronic music environment

In combination these factors led to an investigation of the real time translation
between Image and Sound
(Mapping not at superficial carrier wave level but on a structural level)
