Clearing Up:

In town yesterday we bought an "egg pie" and a sponge cake.
Fatima has also ordered ice-cream locally -so it was quite a feast.

This morning we moved Brownie to a new pen.
Fed my two pigs (No.Three and Junior) and the two remaining goats.
Chopped up a fallen coconut branch, collected weeds as forage and gave it to the pigs
-then dumped a whole pile of dead leaves from paths onto a garden patch to kill grass and weeds
-and to provide some compost when it rots down.....
All of that before breakfast.

Penny, Fatima and Bebe are all cooking in different locations
-in the kitchen, in the garden and in the outside kitchen
-so quite a hive of activity (except for me)....

I think the world and his dog are coming.... our piglet clients, neighbours and friends.....
Every year we worry about having enough -but every year Penny triumphs again!

Penny is really quite a marvel at such things..... I'd be terrified cooking lunch for a few guests -let alone the hungry hoards.....
